Life as a Balance of Forces

Life has always been a balance of forces. Some people used to say God the Father, and Some people now say God the Mother. A Universe complete in one thing never needs the other. A whole that identifies wholeness as itself and everything contained in it does not need anything else beyond it to be it. So, God/Universe must be a duality.

Understanding duality is very important in these times. If you look anywhere, everything has its opposite, and you will never find a time when two things opposite will be without the other. If it is hot somewhere, it will be cold somewhere else. If it is dark somewhere, it will be light somewhere else. If there is beauty somewhere, somewhere else, there will be ugly. If you define something as something, there must be a measure to define it. If something is dark, well, how do you know that? You measure it from something else that is not. Same with Hot and Beauty.
This is also true with positivity and negativity. As sure as we have good experiences and happiness, we will have negative ones and sadness. Could you imagine a world of people laughing all the time? Happy and Giddy? That would not only be exhausting but people would get tired of that after time. Because happiness is defined and gives meaning during periods when you are not happy. You begin to appreciate and understand it more when it is not there. So you cherish a good laugh, when you haven’t had one in a while. Laughing all the time would take the meaning out of it because that’s all there would be. There would be no measure for it.
No matter how frustrating evil, hate, sadness or any form of negativity may be, it will always exist and quite frankly we need it. It is an opposite force in the universe that gives life meaning and another look at what life is. It’s not always pretty, it's not always love, it's not always happy. But it helps to appreciate these things and give these things purpose and meaning.
If the whole world is good, who do you save? If the whole world is healthy, who do you heal? If the whole world is Beautiful, what is there to change?
