Merging the Heart and Mind: A key to a healthy relationship

Your mind must be what your heart wants, and your heart must be what your mind wants. Constantly check in with your heart and see if your mind is responding correctly to your heart. But also, make sure your feelings are correct! Why has your mind responded to incorrect feelings? Check in with your mind. Does your heart follow the instructions of the mind? But is your mind sound? Are your thoughts in alignment with your goals? Why has the heart followed a confused mind?

What I am saying is that the more your heart and mind are out of alignment with each other, the more your relationships will be out of alignment. Your heart and mind are your first relationship. These two are constantly communicating with one another about what is right for both of them but also what is not right. The mind might say, let's go to the gym. But the heart(emotions) might not feel like it. Who wins? Which one is more in alignment with who you truly want to be? The heart might say, this person is yelling at me, say something back. But the mind (through conditioning and fear) may not! Again, which is more in alignment with who you truly are? This can also be played in reverse when the mind or heart wants something and the other agrees, if it is to the benefit of the person, and who they truly are, then something wonderful happens. The heart and mind are joined in union towards a goal. This is what you want to happen all the time (Although that is unrealistic, you understand my point).

Relationships are a vital part of life. We all need them! We just need to understand more of ourselves and the part we play in how well our relationships function. Take a good assessment of yourself and make sure you are aligned with what you are looking for!
